Player of the Week - Kari Hudson

Kari Hudson of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Softball Player of the Week.

Hudson, a senior shortstop from Batavia, Ill., batted .414 (12x29) as Minnesota State played to a 9-0 record on the week including winning the NCC regular-season title.

Hudson drove in eight runs, including a stretch of at least one RBI in five consecutive games and went 4-4 in MSU's come-from-behind victory over Nebraska-Omaha. She collected seven runs, two doubles and three homeruns while only having one strikeout in 29 at bats.

Pitcher of the Week - Meagan Teal

Meagan Teal of Minnesota State has been named the North Central Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Teal, a sophomore from Savage, Minn., went 3-0 with a save in four apperances. Opponents hit a mere .078 against her for the week as she allowed four hits (all singles) and struck out 14 in 15 2/3 innings without giving up any runs.
