Offensive Players of the Week - Kristi Pangrac and Vicky Braegelmann

Kristi Pangrac of St. Cloud State and Vicky Braegelmann of Minnesota Duluth have been named the Offensive Players of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Pangrac, a junior from Upsala, Minn., hit .327 (46k-14e-98ta) while averaging 3.83 kills per game in three matches last week.

Braegelmann, a junior from Albany, Minn., hit .323 (43k-11e-99ta) while averaging 4.78 kills per game in three matches last week, including two resounding NCC wins.

Others nominated: Andrea Oswald, Augustana; Cassie Wolpren, Minnesota State; Heidi Evans, North Dakota; Carlie Christensen, Nebraska-Omaha.

Defensive Player of the Week - Blythe Johnson

Blythe Johnson of Augustana has been named the Defensive Player of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Johnson, a freshman middle blocker from Cheyenne, Wyo., averaged 1.57 blocks and 0.29 blocks per game in two matches last week.

Others nominated: Lisa Rohret, Minnesota State; Rachel Langseth, Minnesota Duluth; Lindsey Gothe, St. Cloud State; Lindsey Vortherms, North Dakota; Stacie Wemhoff, Nebraska-Omaha.

Setters of the Week - Sierra Nowak and Katie Gangelhoff

Katie Gangelhoff of Minnesota Duluth and Sierra Nowak of St. Cloud State have been named the Setters of the Week by the North Central Conference.

Gangelhoff, a sophomore from South St. Paul, Minn., averaged 14.11 assists per game as the Bulldogs went 3-0 last week. She also averaged 1.00 kill per game.

Nowak, a senior from Marshfield, Wis, averaged 12.75 assists per game while hitting .267 (11k-3e-30ta) in three matches last week.
